Smart grid / plug-ins

A »smart grid« – an intelligent 230 V grid - is the term used when the available grid which supplies light switches and socket outlets is fitted with the supplementary plug-ins from Palladio.

In this case, the commands for controlling the lighting and power grid are wirelessly received by the plug-ins from Palladio. These extremely compact units can be invisibly fitted in standard flush-mounted boxes behind the installed light switches and socket outlets.

When connected to the power supply, consump- tion is actively measured by the plug-ins and transmitted to the Palladio system. In this way, energy can be saved even when authorized users are present.
